This look was created mostly using a L'oreal HIP metallic shadow duo in Sculpted and a Wet n' Wild palette in Lust
L'oreal HIP duo |
Wet n Wild: Lust |
First step is to always prime your eyelids. I used my Urban Decay Primer Potion all over my lid, bringing it all the way up to my brow bone.
Next I took this Maybelline Color Tattoo cream shadow in Pomegranate Punk and applied it just to my lids, avoiding the crease area. Blend out any harsh edges with a crease brush.
Then take a flat eye shadow brush and pick up some of the light mauve colour in the HIP duo and place it all over the lid.
From the Wet n Wild palette, take a pointed crease brush and pack some of the matte eggplant colour onto it and mix it with the darker shade in the HIP duo, then apply it in the crease.
The darker shade in the duo has some shimmer in it so to dim it down, I mixed it with a matte eyes hadow so the shimmer doesn't look very overpowering.
Then pick up some matte black shadow and darken the crease area with it, almost creating a cut-crease look (or you can blend it nicely, depending on how subtle/dramatic you want the look to be).
Next step is to take fluffy crease brush and a matte light brown eye shadow to blend out the edges of the dark shade, softening the look as you go up your brow bone. I used this matte palette by Physicians Formula
Then take your favourite liquid liner and line your top and bottom lashline.
Next, I took Sin from the Urban Decay Naked palette and applied it as my highlight. You could use any champagne eye shadow you own (satin or matte).
Finally, curl your lashes and apply mascara and YOUR DONE! :)
